happy monday everyone! it’s always tough to come back to the work week after having time off & i’m definitely on the struggle bus today. mexico was absolutely beautiful & it was the perfect amount of time to get away & have some adventure with trevor. we had some serious quality time with the water & had a blast zip lining and spending an afternoon in a breathtaking cenote.

although i’m not super thrilled to be back at work today it is kind of exciting & crazy to think about! happy ONE year birthday to my little site lows to luxe!!! it’s insane to think how fast this past year has flown by. i remember sitting on the couch (what seems like just yesterday) with trevor asking him over & over again if i should really try to do this. i went back & forth so many times & finally convinced myself to take the leap & if it was horrible i would just delete the space from the internet & pretend it never happened hah.

well, luckily that’s not the way it’s unraveled and a year later i am happy to say i still enjoy this & trevor still loves taking my pictures (insert sarcasm here although he never complains, such a good sport!)

THANK YOU to each of you that stop by & read, comment, or message me about this space…you really have no idea how much it means to me. i thought it would be fun to do a style post today using the same plaid shirt i wore a year ago in my first published post. it wasn’t that much of a stretch since i still wear it all the time. luckily the weather is a tad bit warmer this year so i was able to do a few less layers!
