After a crazy birthday week, I am beyond excited to relax this weekend. It’s been a little bit since I have shared some life updates and there is so much to fill you in on!
Pilates ProWorks Chicago: I have been sticking to my fitness regimen guys! Aren’t you proud? I have been running a few times a week and getting back into my favorite studio! Pilates ProWorks is a pilates studio here in Chicago that offers tons of different workouts. My jam is the Pilates Pro class which is done on a reformer and body transforming. Last Sunday, I went to NK’s class which she dubbed ‘cardio super sets’. Granted, I almost vomited but it was the workout I needed. If you are in Chicago, I highly recommend stopping in!
Birthday Love: Thank you for all the kind and thoughtful messages on my birthday. Wednesday was a Game of Thrones and take out night after work but Trevor treated me to a sweet birthday dinner last night! We tried a new Argentinian spot and I devoured the skirt steak and chimichurri.
Long live Chicago summer: With all the talk of fall on the blog and in my own head, it didn’t seem to be sticking till this week. These past few weekends have been gorgeous and we have been doing everything we can to try to stay outside. That view is from Danielle and Conor’s rooftop birthday party a few weeks back, can you even handle it? I love you Chicago!
Go Cards: Last weekend we had a pretty long day since the UL game started at 11am. Our football team is beyond amazing and it’s going to be a fun season to be a fan! We started out at our college team bar, Finley Dunne’s and after our amazing win made our way over to Wyler Road for lunch with friends. It was our first time and the patio was almost empty and so quaint making it my new favorite spot. Anything that is tucked away and not overcrowded in Chicago is a win in my book!
Hope you guys have had an amazing week and thank you again for making me feel special! Cheers to 5pm and a beautiful weekend!
Such a great week! Cheers to another amazing year ahead, birthday gal!
Thank you so much Jenn! Hope you are feeling better and enjoying your weekend!
