Despite the crazy weather, spring is here! That means it’s time for all the fun prints, pastel colors and off the shoulder looks. I’ve been trying to invest in as little maternity pieces as I can since I won’t be wearing them for long. I have a ton of hand me down basics from my sister in law and my trusty jeans but luckily fun pieces like this off the shoulder jumpsuit are still working.

I spotted this a few weeks ago at Marshalls and just had to have it! I loved so many things about it: the wide leg jumpsuit, the pockets, the off the shoulder feel and the adorable ties on the sleeves not to mention the beautiful print! It was the perfect pick for a fun girls day and I loved it with these nude heels and the espadrille flats I packed with me. Fun fact, I always carry a pair of flats with me (even pre pregnancy) because you just never know!

Jumpsuits are such a great way to make non maternity pieces work throughout pregnancy. They are generally loose fitting and tapered in all the right places. I have found that off the shoulder pieces tend to flatter the pregnant lady and have been wearing them in all different styles.

It’s crazy to think I am already in my third trimester. Where has the time gone? I am starting to stress a tiny bit about everything that is about to happen, which I hope is normal. Despite wanting to be pregnant for so long I feel like there is still so much I don’t know. Not to mention, so much to do to prepare. I am hoping to take off for maternity leave a little early from the office so I can have some time to prepare and relax. Any tips for preparation in this last trimester?
