Happy Friday everyone! So happy we made it to the end of the week. 

Things around here have been a bit crazy since we are just now recovering from our trip to Portland and Trevor left again last night for a work conference in Philadelphia. Leaving Zain for the first time was quite the experience and I will definitely be sharing more on that and all the fun we had in Portland soon! 

Today, I’m excited to talk about a new pair of denim I have been wearing constantly. You may remember me talking about about NYDJ before since I love their fit. I wore them last week to meet Blair for our regular lady date at Left Coast Food and Drink. It’s one of my favorite spots in Lakeview and I don’t get there enough. I wanted something comfortable and casual since we were going to be sitting outside on the patio and then talking Zain and Oliver on a long walk. I paired them with a simple tank and cute flats with a fun pair of earrings. It was the perfect look for an afternoon out!

When thinking of transitioning these to fall, I immediately think of my favorite fall wardrobe item. The anorak! It just goes with everything. It was perfect to throw on with a cute pair of loafers, stripe turtleneck and a tote bag for a day of errands or a fun night out. If you want to dress up the look, just add a lace camisole and you are ready for a nice dinner.
