Good morning! 

How was everyone’s long weekend? We had a fun and low key weekend that sadly got dampened a bit by the rain. We still managed to sneak in lots of relaxation but I am ready for a schedule this week. Zahra just started preschool last week and then immediately having this break makes it feel a bit chaotic all over again so fingers crossed we get it together. 

As for today’s post, I wanted to share some further details on my Reel from this morning. With fall and winter upon us, I figured it was a good time to highlight my favorite denim. Most of these are pretty old but all styles seem to still be available and I find almost all of them on Shopbop because they curate the best styles. 

AGolde Riley Crop

This is my oldest pair and they get better with age. I didn’t think they looked that great online but loved the hem so went for it and never looked back. In true AGolde fashion they are not “stretchy” but do give some over time and wear into the best feeling. I love that these are fitted in the waist but flattering and less tight throughout the hips. I’m 5’8″ and these are the most cropped jeans I own hitting a few inches above my ankle but still work with booties. 

Able Chelsie Jean

This is my newest pair and again, I didn’t love the way these looked online but when I saw them in store I immediately thought they were similar to my AGolde pair but the denim felt much stretchier. Once I tried them on I never let them go! They are so flattering, stretchy in the best way, and I love the slightly longer length here as opposed to my crocs. Run TTS but I would size down if in between, I took my smaller size. These are the perfect everyday jean and they are under $100 plus you can save 15% with code ‘SHAHEEN15‘ 

Citizens of Humanity Olivia Jean

I am sad this style is not widely available any longer but I did my best to find it everywhere I could and this newer Chrissy style is virtually the same pair so I’m thinking they just switched the name! This is another very old pair that I will never get rid of. I like how it’s a ‘skinny jean’ but has a little room at the ankle so it doesn’t feel like a legging, has the best stretch, and fits your behind like a dream. I would also stay TTS in these but size down if in between! 

Pistola Cassie Straight Leg

This is a newer edition from last year that I stumbled upon and ended up loving! I had a lot of requests for something similar to my AGolde Lana pair below but with no distressing and these fit the bill while also being much for affordable. They have a ton more stretch, longer length, and are easy to dress up or down. I really love the fit and material and would suggest browsing their other styles! TTS. 

AGolde Lana Jean

One of my favorite and most asked about pairs of denim. I love the style and straight leg cut! It looks great with flats, heels, boots…you name it. There is very little stretch to this pair and it has not given much since I bought them so I would stay TTS or size up if you run between sizes. I think they are a great investment pair!
