Happy Friday y’all! Can you believe we are almost to Thanksgiving?! I am so excited to head home for the holidays and it seems like the weekends have just been flying by.
We had so much fun celebrating Jess and Neal’s engagement a few weekends ago with a fiesta at their new place. Who can not have fun when there is a piñata and Big Star tacos and margs? It was so nice to finally meet so many of her college and childhood friends we hear so much about!
Halloween was a blast! We headed over to Kelly and Mitch’s house for their annual party and of course I waited till the last minute to figure out our costumes. I actually love dressing up and used to spend so much time coming up with clever looks and have just never had time for it in the past few years. Luckily I had some mouse ears laying around so I made that works and I DIY’ed Trevor a crown so he could be King Tommen from Game of Thrones. Two things, see why I never craft and his Indian clothes come in so handy!
Last weekend was a much needed girls reunion with my friends from Louisville. We try to get together once a month which always proves to be so much harder than it seems with everyone’s schedule. We headed to a new spot, Ñ and it was amazing! If you are in the neighborhood for Argentinean I definitely reccomend it. It’s owned by the same people as Tango Sur but actually takes reservations so you can avoid the crazy long wait.
My youngest niece, Leyla turned 2 last weekend and we had a fun family dinner to celebrate. It’s crazy to think how time flies by and I love watching those kids grow more than anything!
This weekend, one of my favorite brands is making it’s way to Chicago for a holiday pop up shop! Make sure to check out all the details on Cuyana’s website and let me know if you will be stopping by!
Hope you guys have had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend!
