hiiiiiii y’all! sorry for the week hiatus (i know you missed me hah) after a couple crazy busy weeks and celebrating my 30th birthday in new york city in this lace dress i needed a little breather.

this blog has always been something i do because i truly enjoy it and it just felt like a good time to take a step back and make sure it was still serving that purpose. i have always said i never want to feel stress to make things happen here because i want it to be natural and from my heart.

instead of making some lack luster posts i didn’t care about just to check it off the list i wanted to step back, re-evaluate, & come back refreshed! well…here i am!

i had the most magnificent weekend in new york for my birthday. despite the craziness at the airports, trevor & i made it & were able to spend the weekend laughing (literally the whole time) with two of my closest friends from childhood. it’s crazy to look back and think we have known each other all our lives and those friendships become so valuable as we get older.

i decided to be fancy friday night for a romantic dinner with trevor. this lace number was a sale buy from ASOS a few months ago and i loved pairing something so girly with my leather jacket giving it a little edge.

the weather was insanely beautiful and much warmer than chicago and we loved roaming the city together! hope you all have been well & are having a great monday! i must say i’m happy to be back!
