what a weekend! when the forecast called for rain all weekend i was so sad. chicago winters are brutal and we all wait for those amazing summer weekends to recover. luckily, the skies cleared and the weekend was just that! rooftop drinks, birthday brunches, & patio dinners were all in order as well as tons of girl time.

i was excited to finally get some boyfriend jean shorts on! i’ll admit i’m not a huge fan of shorts but was happy to see boyfriend style ones were back. the looser fit and longer length is right up my alley and i loved covering up on top to offset the look. this white vest is one of my summer favorites! it looks good with tanks and tees underneath and everything in between.

throw on a fringe necklace and some black strappy heels and you are kind of ready for anything from brunch to dinner and drinks. i’m now on the hunt for some shorts that are cuffed and distressed like the Rag & Bone ones but at a much lower price point so let me know if you have found anything!
