There is nothing I love more than a cozy grey sweater and a good pair of booties. I have been stalking these Yosi Samra bootie for quite a while and went back and forth between the camel and olive ones. I think they are a win win either way but I love the cutout detail and two tone nature. A good pair of flat boots are essential for winter – especially ones that fit comfortably that you can be in all day.

Trevor and I headed downtown last weekend to walk around the Christkindle Market here in Chicago. It’s an open air market filled with holiday goodies and food and after 6 years I can’t believe it was our first time. It surprisingly wasn’t cold enough for a puffer jacket so I layered this grey open knit with a cable knit sweater underneath. I love oversize knits for exactly this reason – layering. You can always add a long sleeve tee under this grey sweater to add extra warmth under the sweater and a puffer coat over top!
