Ever feel like you need a break? Yea I bet we all do. Sorry for the radio silence over here and some less than new social media content for the past few days. Sometimes life just takes over and this past week and weekend I decided to let it go.

Normal, anxious, type A Shaheen would have never just ignored a to do list but my husband has really been rubbing off on me. Instead of stressing over a few blog posts and always holding myself to these crazy expectations I decided to step back and realize it wasn’t the end of the world and I could get to it when it worked.

Now that isn’t to say I don’t love this space and take it seriously, I do. I have worked so hard to create a fun and creative outlet and enjoy sharing things with you guys but realized I needed a mini breather. When I got off work yesterday I came home for the first time excited to open my laptop and gets some words written and photos edited. I was excited to finally sort through these photos since I’m absolutely obsessed with this new top I snagged. I panicked when I couldn’t find it anywhere on the Forever 21 site but eventually tracked it down – there is just so much stuff on there. It does run a bit small so I would definitely size up.

I paired it with my denim mini and my favorite summer wedges to enjoy some much ne`eded Indian food with Trevor. I love this denim mini for summer and fall and plan on pairing it with over the knee boots and some cozy sweaters in the not so distant future. Our favorite spot in the city is Rangoli but we headed to Devon St to get some traditional goodness. Hope you guys are having a wonderful week & enjoying the Olympics (I’m obsessed!)
