well it seems like the sunny fall days may be limited so i’m trying to soak up as much as i can! i was excited a few weeks back to have a surprise day off from the office. two of my patient rooms needed work so i decided to enjoy eating out with my friend Ashley. we were able to grab a seat at Dove’s Lunchonette, a new mexican inspired diner owned by the people behind Big Star. It definitely didn’t disspoint and my pozole was to die for (highly recommend) they had a fried chicken on the menu i was eyeing but since i had a day filled with my niece & nephew after i passed fearing a food coma.

i decided to throw on something casual and head out since i would be walking around the city all day. i just grabbed this top from Forever 21 along with some other goodies and love the dark floral feel for fall. i paired it with my go to jeans and loafers and threw on this asymmetrical blazer just in case it stared to get cold. the best part of this outfit though is my necklace! i have the most thoughtful friends and for my 30th birthday my friends Stephanie & Rachel gave me this necklace (they have matching one’s) that says “best friend” in morse code. isn’t that the coolest?! i had never heard of these pieces before but absolutely love it and have been wearing it nonstop!
