happy monday everyone! i’m really excited to be teaming up with Piperlime for today’s post. No one is more excited about fall than me & I had such a great time styling these effortlessly chic Piperlime pieces. I thought a while about how to make this shift dress & heels my own and when this idea came into my head i’m a little embarrassed to say how excited i was about it.

fall is all about layering and this nailed it for me. i love a white oxford to pair with more vibrant pieces and you will always be able to find new uses for it. since this shift dress had an understated checked pattern and lots of room i decided to layer an oxford underneath since it’s been a bit more chilly lately here in chicago.

i have been craving a good necktie but haven’t gotten around to grabbing one so i decided to search my closet for something that would work. this piece is a belt from an old dress that i haven’t worn in years. so now all my hoarding tendencies are justified hah! it was perfect & gave me just the feel i wanted.

i paired the look with these stunning black heels from Piperlime that have gorgeous metal straps! these are perfect for a date night or weddings and feel right for fall weather since they are a great suede material. i polished off the look with a bright pink lip to match my necktie and a casual updo i managed to pull off by myself.
