i can’t believe valentine’s day is already here! time seems  to be flying by & i’m hoping sooner than later this snow will melt and spring will be here. till then we can only hope for beautiful 40 degree days like we had this past weekend! trevor & i had every intention to shoot pictures indoors before we went to lunch but the sun was shining & it was pleasant out so we decided to head to the boathouse & take advantage.

i snagged this drop waist dress a few weeks back & it’s so perfect for the weekend. i mean it’s less than $18 so why wouldn’t you buy it? the loose fit is perfect to indulge at dinner and it’s definitely on the shorter side on me but i have longer legs so find that with most things haha. you could easily pair it with some plain or patterned tights and i loved the quilting which to me made it look a bit more chic.

i had to pull out the red pumps and kept the jewelery simple with a little edge from these ear jackets. i love them because my left ear is torn from trying to shove a gorgeous pair of indian earrings in when i was younger and these adjust to the length you need so i don’t feel like one is hanging below the other.

i’m excited to head home this weekend to visit friends & stay in their new house. it’s going to be an adult slumber party and i’m not sure if they should be scared or happy to have all 8 of us in their brand new pad! hope you all have a fun weekend with the people you love!
