you guys, this camel poncho is giving me life and you know i love a good poncho. it’s the perfect blanket size to throw over a white button down or casual tee and a casual pair of jeans. i dressed it up last night for dinner at Mott St with The Everygirl & Shyp but have been wearing it with loafers and booties ever since i got it. dinner was phenomenal and if you haven’t been to Mott St or Ruxbin (the same woman owns both) i suggest you do soon & order the imperial rolls.

the weather has been gloomy and rainy here making me want to wear nothing but oversize sweaters and slippers and stay home but this was the perfect way to feel put together but still relaxed. it comes in black which i think is stunning but loved this shade of camel and am trying to branch out from black and grey – hah.

since yesterday was a ‘day off’ from my day job of being a dentist i met blair at The Winchester for lunch – their avocado toast is amazing! it’s easier to get writing and editing done when it’s not sunny outside and was exactly what i needed. i often underestimate how much time i need to keep up with the blog but i’m excited to start sharing my holiday shop with you guys next week.
