i’ve been so excited to tell you guys about the new Bucketfeet store in Bucktown since I visited there a few weeks ago. life has seriously been crazy with my husband’s boards, work, & keeping busy with the blog so you will have to excuse my delay!
the new store is amazing! i live down the street and the space used to be home to a maternity store. it’s kind of crazy that in a matter of weeks they transformed the space into a new york loft feel. it’s has tons of options from slides to sandals and sneakers but also has a design station so people like me who aren’t that tech savvy can go in and with the help of staff design something to submit to the company.
if you aren’t familiar with the brand they use designs from artists all over the world to print on their canvas sneakers. it’s an amazing way to bring awareness to the art community and this pop up will be hosting talks and community forums all summer long.
i HAD to snag these flamingo slides because who doesn’t need flamingo slides?! i was excited to throw them on with this simple grey summer dress from Lulu’s with fun cutouts that are only appropriate for my age at this particular location haha.
i kept everything else casual for a saturday by the water and let me know if you submit any designs i’m still brainstorming a few myself!
This dress is so cute! I love the waist too!
