Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend the Simply Stylist conference here in Chicago at the Dana Hotel & Spa. It was so nice to meet & chat with Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook, Catt Sadler from E! News, Stephanie Mark the co-founder of The Coveteur, & so many other amazing bloggers. It was inspirational to hear their stories & and refreshing to see how down to earth they all were.
I wanted to wear something classic with a little edge that I knew I would be comfortable in. Meeting so many new people creates so many awkward moments for me & I didn’t want to be pulling on my outfit at the same time!
I chose to rock this black romper that has been a staple in my summer wardrobe for years with a few pieces that had color to spice it up. The romper has little ruffle detailing along the sleeves and a waist tie to cinch it in. These heels are easy to work with since the they’re not too tall & the woven detailing is so fresh. Add a few of my favorite gold accessories from Erin Gallagher & I was set.
I had a fabulous time at the event & it was so great to see friends & meet some new ones (by far my favorite part of blogging) hope you all had a fabulous weekend because I’m still trying to recover from mine…

So I have 2 rompers which I love. A “sexy” dressy romper and my linen casual romper. I and my girlfriends have found our significant others really don’t appreciate these one piece cute and comfy throwback pieces to our wardrobe. Is this an across the board opinion or are boys from the South East biased?
really?! trevor seems to like my rompers even the jumpsuit kind but he hates one shoulder things haha. maybe it’s just personal preference…
