What a weekend! How was yours?
My mom is in town and we had a jam packed weekend. I skipped out on doing any work Friday and spent the day roaming around Nordstrom and a few shops with my mom and Zain and enjoying a little coffee date with her. On Saturday she graciously watched Zain since Trevor was working and I was meeting girlfriends for a friend’s birthday celebration! We brunched at Cindy’s and went down to the Game Room after, is that what it’s officially called?
Anyways, I hadn’t been to Cindy’s in forever and oh my goodness everything we ordered was delicious. The shaved vegetable salad was to die for and I am going to try to figure out how to recreate it. We also loved the quiche, cinnamon roll and my spicy Bloody Mary was heaven. If you haven’t been, I totally reccomend it!
After brunch we played a few games of bocce ball and shuffleboard and had a nice afternoon just hanging out and catching up. Since I indulged a bit on Saturday, I had every intention to scale back and do a salad Sunday but my brother called and came into the city with my youngest niece and we ended up at Parlor Pizza eating nacho bites and pizza with truffle oil! Although unplanned it was the best little afternoon with family and I at least made it to Whole Foods after to grocery shop for the week.
I’m not stressing about the food and really excited to head to Flywheel this morning! There is a Hamilton themed spin class and I’m meeting Lauren there and literally can’t wait. Not only do I need to get back to the studio but I love the Hamilton soundtrack so I can only imagine what they are going to come up with.
I’m normally not super into holiday sales but since President’s Day falls right around on the start of spring, it’s the perfect time to stock up on basics and some fun pieces for warmer temps. I’m actually happy that the rain is falling and clearing out all the disgusting snow that is still on the ground. I’m not going to lie, I am very very tired of sweaters and watching snow fall.
I rounded up some of my favorite picks from around the web and most of the picks are 40% or more and all the Ann Taylor pieces are an extra 50% off with code GETMORE. Hope you all find some amazing deals and Happy Monday!
Can’t wait to start shopping your favorite picks! Thanks for sharing these looks!

Thanks Merritt!
Your outfit is really beautiful. I miss the spring, because here in Germany it is still very cold. Even though we often have nice weather here in Freiburg, as you can see in the photos here: Korbtasche rund
