I know I shared a tiny bit about Boston last week but I am so excited to share some of the photos with you guys and chat more about the trip! Marshalls really planned every last detail and the week couldn’t have been more phenomenal. Day 1 started with some brand overviews and the best ice breakers. We DIY’ed some crafts and chatted about our lives and how we cam into the blogging world. It was so nice to meet women for all over the country that found themselves in the blogging industry in such different ways.

After our afternoon learning we had cocktails downtown and headed to Newbury street to shop a little. I hadn’t been back to Boston in years and loved seeing the brownstones unchanged and exploring all the fresh seafood! My brother actually went to college and grad school there so I would visit frequently but since he’s moved years ago I hadn’t been back. I remember being 16 and getting lost on the train for the first time unsure how to follow the directions my brother gave me. I wish I could say I have gotten better with directions but that may not be the case…

That night we headed to Trade restaurant for dinner! It was beautifully styled and I couldn’t tell you how many courses. We had some amazing fresh oysters and shrimp and I had the salmon for dinner which melted in my mouth! If you ever find yourself in Boston I totally recommend it – the food and cocktails were phenomenal.

After a long day and a late dinner I was ready to hit the sack and this white dress and wedges had kept me comfy all day. I snagged this Free People dress before heading on the trip and loved how it had adjustable optional straps. Off the shoulder can get really old after a while and these straps were a lifesaver. I paired it with my new platform wedges I waited to come back in stock for months! I linked to most of the retailers I searched and if they don’t have your size I would just check back every so often and snag them as soon as you see them. They honestly feel like walking on air and I know want them in black too. They didn’t bother my heel but that leather needs some breaking in so test them out before you wear them for a full day out. I have already worn this look multiple times and think it is the perfect summer BBQ outfits!
