Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY friends!
We are heading into a beautiful weekend and I thought sharing another installment of Things I Love would be the perfect way to welcome it. In case you are new here, I like to share this lists of things that are bringing joy to my life, articles I have found interesting and products I have been loving. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!
Ember Travel Mug
Okay, you all know I am in love with my Ember Mug and had no intention of grabbing the travel mug despite desperately wanting it. It’s definitely pricey but Trevor and Zain picked it out for me for Mother’s Day and I was ecstatic. I have to say, it has more bells and whistles than the traditional mug and is pure heaven if you love hot coffee and travel for work.
Target Gauze Top
I purchased this $15 top a few weeks ago and have worn it once if not twice per week since. It’s perfect for work and looks great paired with denim! It comes in a ton of colors and with coordinating $15 bottoms. I think the gauze like material looks much nicer than the price tag and they both run TTS.
The Choice Was Made For Me
This NY Times article dives into the large effect the pandemic had on women in the workforce. Currently, only 56% of women are working for pay which is the lowest since 1986. We all know they are working overtime in more ways for no pay.
Bala Bangles
Okay, okay! I finally gave in and bought them since they were on sale and I have to say I love them. Do I think they will transform my arms? Possibly but they feel great and give me some great resistance on walks and during my jump rope workouts. (more Bala here)
8 Fancy Mustards You Need in Your Life
Do you love mustard? We do. I was probably too excited to see this article and have since been collecting them to try. Should we do a taste test on stories?
Square Neck Sports Bra
Although I’m pretty loyal to my Amazon crop top/bra, I have been reaching for this square neck bra a ton. I love the neckline, ribbing and color combo and it’s pretty supportive for spinning and at home workouts. (more FP here)
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Chance To Start Over
Loved this article from The Atlantic on how to prepare for a better than before life after the pandemic! I actually followed suit and made myself a list of things to leave behind and keep and hung it on my mirror 🙂
Chain Link Earrings
If you know me, you know I rarely wear any earrings outside of my Michelle Starbuck studs. If you are new to her, she is an amazing designer out of Chicago that creates one of a kind pieces that last a lifetime. However, I’ve been wanting some a little more fun for weekends since I am fully embracing dressing up again and I bought these and love them!!! They are lightweight and subtle while still making a statement. (more Kenneth Jay Lane here)
Oh I love the chain earrings. I’d wear them too. How do you find all this cool jewelry? I’m asking because I’ve never heard of these designers but I like what I’m seeing. One I happen to like who creates abstract jewelry is Canadian designer Christopher Poly.
I may have to look into the Bala Bangles…hmmm….i wonder if they have various weights available. They look nice!
So sweet of your family to buy the travel mug for you!
Just browsing! I don’t believe they have other weights but I’m sure their direct site has more info!
