Wedding Guest Dresses On My Radar

Oct 24, 2022

Good morning and happy Monday!

How was everyone’s weekend? It’s hard to believe Halloween is just around the corner but we already enjoyed round 1 of costumes at Boo at the Zoo this past Friday. I’m still working on our family costume for trick or treating on Halloween but the kids have been enjoying requesting different costumes every day for their other activities 😉

Today’s post is spilling all the details on the dresses from this morning’s Reel all about wedding guest dresses. I would say this is by far the #1 request and question I recieve week after week so I thought I would try out a few and report back! Shopbop is generally the first place I look for dresses. I always think they have a good mix of price points and pieces that aren’t commonly found on other popular sites.

Here are all the details on the looks I featured and if you have any questions at all just leave them in the comments or send me a DM over on Instagram

Aje Asymmetric Mini Dress

This color immediately drew me in and the fact that I have been looking at these dresses forever and finally caught one on sale! I think the cut and fit is so flattering and would say that it runs small – I’m in a 4 but exchanging for a 6. They also have several longer versions of this style that I’ll link below!

WAYF Cut Out Midi Dress

I always browse WAYF first when I hop on to the Shopbop site because the price point is always great and I love their designs. I have bought many WAYF dresses and never had a problem with quality or the pieces lasting and generally find them TTS – I’m in a small.

o.p.t. Liana Dress

Isn’t this so fun? If not for a wedding this would be perfect for a holiday party or NYE! I love o.p.t. dresses and always find the fit flattering and this is no exception. Runs very small through the hips in my opinion and also comes with a belt I didn’t use because I preferred the look without – I’m in a small but would exchange for a medium.

Staud Wells Dress

Isn’t this cut beautiful? Staud pieces are definitely an investment but a great one in my opinion. They make the most classic and beautiful pieces that you can wear for years to come. This beautiful silhouette is also available in several short and long versions in a few colors I’ll link below!

Reformation Tagliette Dress

Another beautiful black dress option under $250! Sometimes I think a black dress is overlooked but as I’ve gotten older I have come to appreciate them more. I think the details can be stunning and it’s something you will wear again and again making the investment worth it! Runs TTS – I’m in a size 2.

Significant Other Lola Dress

This was a little out of the box for me but I love the neckline and cut! I think it runs pretty fitted through the bottom so I would size up if in between and my tape worked perfect with this!

Shoes: Black Strappy Heels (old, linked similar), Silver Sandals, Pink Heels

Handbags: Silver Beaded & White Acrylic

In case those aren’t for you, I rounded up a few others I like below:

Enjoy and have a wonderful Monday!
