my favorite recent beauty buys

Good morning friends!

Today’s post is going to be short and sweet but I just wanted to update you all on these products I shared a few weeks ago since I have been getting some questions about them.

Although it’s only been a few weeks, I am completely sold on almost all of them. So many of you messaged me that all forms of the P50 are magical and I just went with the P50W because it’s for more sensitive skin and since it was a new toner for me I was worried to go with anything too strong. I think once my skin is acclimated to this I will bump up. Although this is called a lotion it’s actually a toner like I mentioned above. I use it on these pads and gently pat it all over my face and neck. I really think it has brightened and evened my skin tone since I’ve been using it. I was also happily surprised that it wasn’t as pricey as I anticipated. It’s a cult favorite and the Vitamin C serum I want to try is upwards of $200 and I can’t do that just yet. At under $70, I think this is a great investment product and can’t recommend enough. You can purchase it from any Biologique Recherche spa or aesthetician that uses it or order it on Rescue Spa. That was the only reputable place I came across that had it and the shipping was free!

Next up is this eye cream! LOVE LOVE LOVE. If you’ve been following me for a while you know I am always on the hunt for the best eye cream. This is probably the best one I’ve ever tried and it’s meant to work with your makeup so you can even apply this in the morning before your makeup. It is thick enough that a tiny bit goes a long way so I think this little bottle will last me a while.

The Herbivore Bakuchiol was a bit of an impulse buy. I actually really like the Beautycounter Countertime line but some of the creams are a bit too heavy for me. I love the idea of a safer retinol and so far I’m fine with this. I’m not sure I’ve seen any crazy results (I will need to observe for a bit longer) but overall I like the consistency and have been using it at night. Make sure that if you are using a retinol you are wearing an SPF during the day. Having some in your makeup is definitely not enough in my opinion so I would layer. Supergoop or Kopari are my go to’s.

Last but not least is this lip mask I had been debating forever. I’m not sure why it took me so long to order but I LOVE it. I had been feeling like nothing was keeping my lips moisturized during the day and am somewhat of an obsessive lip balm applier. I’ve started using this at night and will go a whole day without having to apply anything else. I believe it comes in a few scents!

Lastly, I just learned the correct order to apply everything to my face during my night routine so figured I would share since it surprised me!

Toner

Serum

Retinol

Moisturizer

Eye Cream

Hope that was the least bit helpful and if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message!
