Since we are all spending a lot more time at home, I have attempted to step up my at home workout game. Luckily, we had started the transition shortly before quarantine by ordering a Peloton which then arrived quickly making it very convenient. Both of us had already frozen our gym memberships as well since I was nearing the end of pregnancy. Trevor had joined Shred 415 and I thought the Peloton would be easier to get a workout in on post baby as well.
Since then, I’ve also stocked up on some at home equipment and subscribed to The Sculpt Society. I’ve shared a few of those workouts on Instagram and love the programs. They are quick, fun and such a good sweat. Dance cardio and the pre and post natal workouts have been my favorite!
I’m still wearing my go to Amazon leggings and a sports bra to workout but had lately become addicted to these maternity biker shorts. They make me feel pulled in and keep me cooler which are both huge bonuses. I also keep these APL’s as my indoor workout shoes and recommend sizing up one full size in them!
Other must haves for me are a good yoga mat that’s thick enough to provide some comfort, a good set of resistance bands and my Apple watch! I know there has been debate about how accurate the workout tracking is since you are not wearing a heart rate monitor but I couldn’t live without mine. I don’t necessarily use it for tracking reasons but it’s such a great motivator to get moving every day and allows me to get out with Zain without my phone. I’ve had it for a while and have never had any issues with it. My specific version is linked about and it’s the Series 3 with cellular and aluminum.
