Happy Tuesday people! Despite a crappy past few months I am feeling better and excited for fall and some fun things in the works for the blog. I thought I would continue the week with one of my favorite fall looks.

Last week I met Blair for our weekly photo sessions and work day at Soho House. It’s nice that when my office isn’t super busy I can get away one day of the week and usually spend it shooting, writing & trying to enjoy a ‘day off’ we met in the West Loop which is one of my favorite neighborhoods to shoot and just be in. The vibe, food & never ending possibilities just can’t be beat.

After shooting a few looks and meeting some interesting characters along the way (I’m fairly certain we flashed some construction workers…) we had lunch at City Winery. I have been there a few times for events but never had anything to eat and it did not disappoint. If you can believe me it was too hot to sit outside and we had the whole place to ourselves. The burrata you saw on instagram was to die for! We both had salads and i devoured mine with a delicious glass of rosΓ©.

One of my favorite fall trends is trench coats (obvs) and this one tops my list! It’s perfect midi length and lack of sleeves makes it easy for layering into fall and winter like over this stripe dress.

Stay tuned for my roundup of stripe essentials later this week!
