i just don’t understand how the weekend is over already?! time seems to be flying by lately & i can’t even wrap my head around the fact that thanksgiving is next week!!! this past weekend we met some friends at The Chicken Shop in Soho House for brunch. brunching may be one of my favorite activities & it’s always so hard for me to decide between sweet & savory. luckily trevor will usually indulge in something delicious that i can grab a taste from before it’s all gone. the food was delicious & the company was even better!

with the holiday’s coming up i wanted to share a couple of ideas for the occasion. my family tends to be more laid back around the holiday’s so this look would be perfect! this J.Crew turtleneck is one of my favorites because it’s thin and allows you to breathe. Although it’s freezing out I don’t want to end up hot all day in the house with a fire going. I loved adding the vest to complete the look and a bit of color with the oxblood booties!
