6 Things I Love Right Now

Oct 26, 2021

Good morning and hello Tuesday!

Zahra is only at preschool for a few hours so I ended up rescheduling my dentistry to tomorrow so I could be with her. The sun is supposed to be shining so we may go on a long walk through the park and have lunch outside if the weather cooperates.

I thought today would be a great time to share a few things we have been loving this month since it is already winding down! Can you believe October is already over this weekend? We have a jam packed weekend full of fun stuff with the kids and I seriously need to get a handle on our costumes 😉

Only Murders in the Building

Have you all watched this new show on Hulu? I loved every single episode and am so sad it’s over! It stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez and they are all amazing in it. It’s a comedic murder mystery about 3 strangers that connect over a tragedy in their building. Trust me, it’s wonderful.

EBY Bralette & Undergarments

I chatted about this a few weeks ago but they just sent over a code for you all so wanted to share again! You all know that I am not a fan of a wire bra. I have not worn one since I had Zain but have found some really great wireless options! I have a few tried and true but recently tried this EBY Bralette and really love it. The seamless fabric is so comfortable and I found it runs TTS.  The same goes for their invisible undergarments, they are the perfect solution under leggings and I love that they don’t budge. I also admire that two tiers of their mission statement are:

Women’s Empowerment

Your purchase empowers women out of poverty by offering them a hand UP, not a handOUT. EBY funds microloans for women worldwide to start their own businesses, enabling them to improve their communities and break the cycle of poverty for their children.

No Sweatshops

Our factory respects the balance between environmental, social, and economic performance and upholds the Women’s Empowerment Principles we developed jointly with the United Nations. No sweatshops. Not fast fashion.

They also have a subscription option that offers 3 panties every 3 months or 5 panties every 6 months with members only pricing and they sent over an amazing code for you all to use: ‘SHAHEEN20’ will save you 20% off anything on their site and be sure to reach out with any size or fit questions!

Watching You

I am determined to finally start this book this week. This month has been crazy busy with work (both dentistry and here on the blog) so my reading has fallen to the side. I love Lisa Jewell and am dying to finally dive into this. Have you read it?

Little Sleepies Holiday Jammies

My favorite bougie pajama brand released a cute new print for the holidays and you better believe I scooped them up for the kids. I am generally a Target or H&M kind of pajama person but when it comes to splurging on holiday pj’s, Little Sleepies is it for me. I find their pajamas so incredibly soft and stretchy making them last way longer for my kids. Zain is still wear his Christmas pajamas from last year! I always size up for them but I can not recommend them enough.

Hawaiian Roll Sliders

Zain and I are very excited about the dish we are making to take to a potluck this weekend and I think I will attempt to finally film a new Cook with Zain video 😉 We are combining a recipe I saw on The Defined Dish Instagram, this Half Baked Harvest recipe, and a family recipe from Trevor’s side. Hot Hawaiian Roll Sliders sound like heaven and I can not wait to check out the finished product!

The Art of Not Taking Things Personally

I came across this article on Cup of Jo and it resonated with me so much so I thought you all might find it insightful as well. It’s a deeper dive into why our emotions are not always representative of those around us.

Hope you all are having a great start to your week!
